Tools: Design
You can use this to define the connections of the walls to each other along with the wall division for columns.
To define wall connections
- Go to the context toolbar and click
Connections. This enables the tools for defining connections. - Click
Properties to define the connection options. - Go to the input options and select whether you want to automatically form or manually select the connections and, where required, the wall divisions for columns for all of the selected walls.
- Select all of the required walls and columns under the Automatically form connections setting and right-click in the workspace or click OK to confirm.
The program applies standard connections to the selected walls in the current drawing file.
- If Place connections manually is set, the "search area" is visualized on the crosshairs. Select the walls and if necessary columns on the screen in such a way that there is a connection for the walls in question in the search area.
The context toolbar opens a text box that lists the .
- Change the connection option by clicking the Previous / Next Option arrow keys. The program changes the walls immediately.
- You can also click the Name of Connection button, thus opening a list where you can select a connection type.
- Right-click in the workspace or click OK to confirm your selection.
Note:
You can also place wall joints manually within this function. This can be used to alter the way the walls are automatically divided.
You can then
define the divisions.
