Reference Scale

Task area Work Environment

You can use this tool to set the scale in which the object will be printed.

The reference scale governs the true proportions of fixed parameters (such as, the character height, dimension lines, patterns, hatching ...) relative to the object displayed on the screen.

To change the reference scale

1. Click Reference Scale (How).
   

   Activate Reference Scale in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task area Work Environment

   • Menu bar: View

   Or:

   Click the reference scale indicator on the status bar.

2. Enter the new reference scale.

Tip: In addition to the default values, you can enter and save custom values for the reference scale.
