Wall

Task area Components + Interior Finish

You use this function to create single or connected walls with one or more layers.

To draw walls

1. Click Wall (How).
   

   Activate Wall in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Components

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Keyboard: CTRL+W

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

2. If you want, you can now modify the wall's parameters.
   Use the options on the context toolbar.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match properties to copy the settings from an existing element.

   Or:

   Define the wall’s parameters in the Properties palette or assign a Style to the wall.

3. Select the wall type on the Wall context toolbar:
   • Straight component
   • Rectangular component
   • Curved wall
   • Circular wall
   • Polygonal wall (inscribed)
   • Polygonal wall (circumscribed)
   • Entity-based wall
   • Spline-based wall
