Tools: Design + Design (special) + Modify Design
Slab thickness
Total slab thickness including on site in-situ concrete.
Panel thickness
Thickness of the panel.
Concrete cover (bottom/top/lateral)
Concrete cover of reinforcement at bottom for half floor, BubbleDeck, Cobiax slab, and brick slab; concrete cover of reinforcement at bottom and top for other slab types. Lateral concrete cover can be defined for BubbleDeck and Cobiax slab only.
Note: When choosing the Calculation option for the lattice girder height in the half floor configuration, please note you must also enter the concrete cover (top) here for the half floor.
Concrete grade (precast element, in-situ concrete)
Select a concrete grade in the catalog.
If you calculate elements with different concrete grades for the precast element and the in-situ concrete, the program always uses the poorer grade for any calculation in compliance with the regulations.
Exposure class
Enter the appropriate exposure class.
Cement formulation, minimum concrete cover, and minimum concrete strength grade depend on the exposure class.
Surface property
Only available for half floor, half floor with filling object, BubbleDeck, and Cobiax slab.
Select the surface property of the element panel in the list box. The program proposes this setting when calculating shear force and bond.
Fire resistance classification
Only available for BubbleDeck and Cobiax slab.
Select the fire resistance classification in the catalog.
Floor structure (g)
Load on floor structure in [kN/m2].
Attention: The dead weight of the slab will be added automatically!
Live load (p)
Imposed load in [kN/m2].
The following imposed loads are available:
You must define the imposed load for structural calculations because the factors are different depending on how the imposed load acts.
Snow load (s)
Snow load in [kN/m2].
Structural analysis mark
Name for structural calculations.
Girder type
Select a girder type in the catalog.
Note: When choosing the Calculation option for the lattice girder height in the half floor configuration, the entry is not available and the text To be calculated... will be displayed.
Shortening longit. dm [%]
The program shortens longitudinal bars of the second or third diameter by the value entered (as a percentage of the panel length).
Special production type
Not implemented
Bottom side
Only available for hollow core element and concrete slab.
The side of a concrete slab to which formwork is applied is usually the lower side; in other words, the bottom of the slab is smooth. However, some elements - such as balcony slabs - require a smooth upper side. When you clear this check box, the element will be "turned” for production. Consequently, the program inverts the data (for example, reinforcement) and transfers it to production (control computer). Depending on the type (for example, slab elements or balcony elements), this button will automatically be initialized.

Additional attributes
You can select this button only when you defined entries in the configurations. To turn an attribute on or off, click its Name button. You can change the box by defining default settings in the configurations.
The program analyzes the attributes as follows:
Note: The first attribute is predefined for prestressed hollow core elements. The program labels the panels with the text you entered for the selected attribute. Thus, you can define whether the panels have drainage holes.
Code text
Only available when the Precast with BCM option is selected in the configuration for the program sequence. Click to open the dialog box with the catalog for selecting the code text. Select an entry or assign entries manually.
