Reinforcement tools

Task area Bar Reinforcement + Meshes

You can use this tool to control which parts of reinforcement are visible in views and sections when you work in Reinforce with 3D model mode. In addition, you can not only dimension views and sections automatically and interactively but also export and import label patterns.

To control how placed reinforcement looks in sections

1. Click Reinforcement Tools (How).
   

   Activate Reinforcement Tools in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Engineering Task Reinforcement Task area Bar Reinforcement or Meshes

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar Reinforcement/Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

2. Click one of the buttons on the Reinforcement Tools Context toolbar to run the corresponding reinforcement tool. The following tools are available:
   • All-1 - shows all instances of hidden reinforcement in one view or section.
   • 1-All - shows one instance of hidden reinforcement in all views or sections.
   • One-On - shows one instance of hidden reinforcement in one view or section.
   • Auto - automatically dimensions and labels all instances of bar reinforcement.
   • Hide - hides one or more instances of reinforcement in one view or section.
   • Exp LP - saves a representation of reinforcement, which you created manually, as a label pattern for views and sections.
   • Imp LP - imports a representation of reinforcement, which you saved as a label pattern, for views and sections.
     

Note: When you use the Remove from View tool to remove elements from a view or section, these elements are not just hidden but they are actually deleted from the view or section. Consequently, you cannot use one of the tools listed to show these elements again.
If you want to do this, you must use the Add to View tool.
