Creating a spherical panorama with Cineware

Creating 360° views

To create a spherical panorama with Cineware

  1. Select the central projection.

To do this, activate the Perspective view in the Viewport Toolbar of the graphics window.

  2. Select the position of the eye point, the viewing angle and the focal length either directly in the viewport or via the 3D view palette ( 3D view function in the Viewport Toolbar).
  3. Click Render (How).

    The Render palette opens.

  4. Select the required resolution for the rendered image.

Define the required resolution by selecting an entry in the Default list box or click the button to the right of Resolution and define the resolution in the Rendering size palette.

    Important!
So that Allplan correctly displays spherical panoramas, you must select the image resolution so that it is at a ratio of 2:1 (for example, 4,000 x 2,000 pixels).

  5. Go to the General settings area and select the Spherical option.
  6. For the Mode, select the Latitude, longitude mapping mode.
  7. Define the other parameters as you need.
  8. Click Render.
  9. If you want, you can optimize the Color saturation, Brightness, and Contrast of the rendered bitmap image.
  10. Save the rendered image.

To do this, go to the Render dialog box in the Cineware window and click As a bitmap to the right of Save.

    Important!
So that Allplan correctly displays spherical panoramas, you must save the rendered image in JPG or TIF format.

  11. If you want, you can edit the rendered image with appropriate tools. For example, you can add metadata to the spherical panorama (see "Options for further editing").
