Text leaders immediately after text creation

By selecting the Text Leader option in the advanced toolbar of the Text dialog box, you can now append a text leader to a fileset element once the text has been definitively created. The Text Leader function is automatically started for this purpose.

If you wish to edit text, you cannot select the Text Leader option.
