You can activate the Watch list palette in the View menu. However, it is also opened if you show the tooltip of a node parameter at the output ports in a node, click the Watch button and add this parameter in the Watch list palette. The Watch list palette is docked at the right side of the application window. You can now check the parameters you have added for the duration of your Visual Scripting session. If you close Allplan Visual Scripting, the Watch list palette is automatically cleared.
If you select a parameter in the Watch list palette, the associated preview element will be highlighted in color in Allplan. This allows you to review the geometry of your element.
You can use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste selected nodes and their connecting lines across scripts. You can reuse existing node combinations by copying scripts.
A project file ending *.avsprj is now created when saving a VisualScripting script.
If you have created VisualScripting scripts in previous versions of Allplan 2023 and then saved them, they will have been saved as a *.pyp file. In the same way as before, these files can only be read or edited. When saving these data, they are now saved as a *.avsprj project file.
When in the workspace of the Visual Scripting application window, you can now arrange for your script view to be enlarged or reduced by a certain percentage. To do this, you can choose from 7 preset values or use your mouse scroll wheel to set the presentation size.
