The Stop (SHIFT +F5) function can be found both in the toolbar as well as in the Script menu. It ensures the execution of the script triggered by
Start and, thus, synchronization between Allplan and Visual Scripting is interrupted. If the script has already been executed and the Properties palette and the object are displayed in Allplan, switching the
Stop function on will ensure that this preview in Allplan is deleted again. You are therefore returned to the initial state without having to close Visual Scripting.
The Create objects... function can be found in the toolbar and in the File menu. If you have created a script in Allplan Visual Scripting and triggered the execution of the script by selecting
Start, the object und Properties palette will be displayed as a preview in Allplan. To ensure both are not only displayed but also created in Allplan, you must use the
Create objects... function. The object is then saved in a *.pyp file. By doing this, the object and Properties palette will continue to be available for editing in Allplan after the Visual Scripting application window is closed.
The Create·PyP·script·only..... function found in the File menu only allows you to create a script and not an object in Allplan. Your script is saved in a *.pyp file.
