Legend for element plan
Tools: Element Plan
You can use
Legend to create nonassociative lists as legends. These legends will always be derived from and placed in the current element plan. All elements on modifiable layers will be included. The legends are automatically updated in the event of any changes.
To create a nonassociative list as a legend
- Click
Legend on the Element Plan context toolbar. - The Legend Selection dialog box opens. Select the folder, subfolder, and name of the legend.
- Place the legend in the element plan.
- You can use the shortcut menu to edit the legend later. You have the following options:
- Use
Update Label to add changes (the layer status, for example) to the legend. - You can change the page break within the legend by clicking on the workspace or by entering a value in the length unit selected in the dialog line.
- You can resize a legend by clicking in the workspace or entering a factor in the dialog line.
- You can explode a legend into design entities. All elements get the same group number so that you can quickly and easily select and edit the exploded legend.
Notes:
- Make sure that you select a legend that is suitable for local or global mark numbers.
- The current scale and unit of length will be saved together with the legend when you create it. Consequently, these settings remain unchanged when you update the legend.
