Tools: Stirrup Cages + Modify Stirrup Cages
Select the required Stirrup shape in the upper area of the Bending Shape Definition dialog box. The graphic shows the selected stirrup shape with the placeholders for the dimensions. Define the parameters of the stirrup shape and longitudinal reinforcement in the area below the graphic.

Auto-calculate segment length
When this option is not selected, the program uses the last dimensions used. For example, this makes sense if you want to enter several cages of the same stirrup geometry but of different length.
When this option is selected, the program always computes the segment lengths automatically.
a, b, c, ...
Define the dimensions of the selected stirrup shape. For better orientation, the dimension you are defining is highlighted in color in the graphic.
Hook
Select this option to apply Hooks to the stirrup ends. Define the Hook angle and the Hook length in the boxes. For better orientation, the parameter you are defining is highlighted in color in the graphic.
Rotate
Select the Rotate option to turn the stirrup shape by an Angle of +90 degrees or -90 degrees.
Longitudinal reinforcement
Select the Create reinforcement option to create longitudinal reinforcement by defining its parameters in the following table. Longitudinal reinforcement at sides shows the side that gets the longitudinal bars.
Side
Use the and
buttons to define where to create the longitudinal reinforcement, or click
to open the table where you can define the parameters of the longitudinal reinforcement.
Create
Select the Create option to define where to create the longitudinal reinforcement. The following options are available: Top, Bottom, Left, and Right. You can define the Number of bars, their Diameter, and the Bar projection at the start and end of the placement.
When you create only one bar per segment, you can place this bar so that it is Centered or at any Offset from the corner. The reference point for the offset is on the left for the Top and Bottom and at the bottom for the Left and Right.

Minimum edge offset
Define the minimum edge offset of the longitudinal reinforcement of the stirrup cage.
