Translating a SmartPart with an external Editor

To translate the string table of a SmartPart with an external editor

1. Click Save String Table, to export the string table to a *.smr file.

2. Translate this file in an external editor. You can also use specialized translation programs (e.g. Passolo) for the translation.

   The smr file is an xml file, where the following elements can be translated:

   • StringTable/StringPage/String/Value
   • StringTable/StringPage/Material/Name
   • StringTable/StringPage/Material/Path
3. Click Load String Table to import the translated *.smr file.
