Opening in U-D Archit. Element

Task area Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

You can use this tool to create openings in user-defined architectural elements.

Note: You cannot use this tool to edit 3D objects converted to user-defined architectural elements.

To create an opening in a user-defined architectural element

1. Click Opening in U-D Archit. Element (How).
   

   Activate Opening in U-D Archit. Element in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

2. Set the parameters.
   • On the context toolbar, click Height to set the height of the opening.
   • Define architectural attributes on the context toolbar.
3. Enter the outline of the opening using the polyline entry tools.

   Allplan automatically updates the element label.
