Mark Numbers for Structural Framing Object

In the palettes of structural framing objects, the positioning section has been added to the attributes tab. Here you define the expression for the schema as well as the numerical value for the start number. These specifications are then used to generate the position number with the new positioning function in the structural framing objects task area. To do this, after selecting the function, select all the structural framing objects for which you want to generate a mark number and right-click on the workspace to confirm your selection.

To generate the mark numbers, all drawing files that are actively in the background are also taken into account in addition to the actively loaded drawing file. Structural framing objects with identical schema, identical start number and identical parameters and attributes receive the same mark number.

Note: If no expression has been specified for the schema, no item number will be generated.

If you modify the structural framing objects, the mark number is displayed for information. You can use the mark number as an attribute of the structural framing object, e.g. for labeling.

Notes on the parameters of positioning

Control of positioning after modifications

If you have already created mark numbers for the modified structural objects and the modifications have an effect on the correct positioning, a message appears briefly at the bottom right of the screen after you close the palette to indicate that objects with incorrect mark numbers exist. You can show this notification permanently by clicking on notifications in the status bar. If you do not want the messages to be displayed automatically for future modifications, activate the suppress message until project change option.

If the incorrect positioning is corrected, the icon changes to . This makes it clear that there are no objects with incorrect mark numbers.
