The Smart Catalog offers you the possibility to create your own material catalog. You can select this XML catalog when you create your project, but you can also assign it afterwards in the project properties (path settings - CAD-TAI project assignment). The material data accumulated in the catalog is then available to you in the material selection for your objects.
The Smart Catalog contains some sample data. You are not bound to the structure of this sample data in the setup of your catalog. You are free to choose the hierarchy as well as the type and number of your material data. If you have added data to your Smart Catalog, it will be stored in the office default folder ...\STD\XML Catalog Data after saving.
The call to edit the catalog is currently made via Service application - service - smart catalog.
