Blooming and Lens Effect in Animation View Mode

Provided you are using the Phong shading type, the animation view type (or the self-defined view types that are based on the shaded rendering method) gives you two more new ways to optimize the screen display of your model: Bloom and lens effect. Both settings are selected from the view type palette of the shaded render method.

When Blooming is switched on, an additional ring of light is placed around light sources, such as the sun or point-shaped sources of light. The prerequisite is therefore that the physical sky has been selected as the background via surroundings (select) or one or more artificial light sources have been set via set project light (select).

When the lens effect is switched on, additional circular light reflections (comparable to the reflection of a light source in a camera lens) are interspersed in the image.

Important! Both effects can only be displayed on your screen if your workstation is equipped with a graphics card that supports Vulkan™ technology (recognizable by the red dot in the title bar of the relevant graphics window). In renderings, both effects are generally not taken into account.
