Optimized RT rendering for NVIDIA graphics cards

For workstations equipped with an NVIDIA® graphics card, the NVIDIA® OptiX™ noise filter offers new visualization possibilities. The noise reduction process makes the most of the NVIDIA® GPU's capabilities, enabling sophisticated, high-resolution renderings to be achieved in the shortest possible time.

The noise filter is available as a downstream post process for the RT_Render render process as used in the RTRender view type. To do this, select the NVIDIA OptiX entry in the view type palette for the RT_Render render method in the post process settings area under noise reduction filter.

Important! This option is only available if your workstation is equipped with a graphics card from NVIDIA® that supports Vulkan™ technology (recognizable by the red dot in the title bar of the relevant graphics window).
