Allplan Installation Significantly Simplified

Allplan installation simplified considerably. As a user, the settings you make during the installation are now limited to a few specifications, such as defining the program path and the data path, and selecting the options to be installed. For an upgrade installation, you only have to choose between upgrading an existing Allplan installation and a new or parallel installation of Allplan 2022.

You can make all other settings and transfer settings, projects and other data from previous versions downstream using Allplan Diagnostics (select in Allplan: Help menu; select in Services application: Service menu) or direct project import via new project, open project.

Important information about the Workgroup Manager!
When you reinstall Allplan 2022, you no longer need to explicitly specify whether to install with or without the Workgroup Manager. The Workgroup Manager is installed automatically as of version 2022.
If you want to run Allplan in a network with Workgroup Manager and you have a corresponding license, activate the Workgroup Manager via Allplan Diagnostics (settings tab, workgroup settings area). For more information, see “Allplan Diagnostics” in the Allplan Help.
