Data transfer for new or parallel installation

If Allplan 2022 is installed parallel to Allplan versions 2021, version 2020 or version 2019 you can decide during the installation itself whether the office and user settings should be applied from the (latest) previous version or not:

• You do not apply the settings. Allplan 2022 is completely reinstalled with the default settings.
• You apply all office settings and the most important user settings (see “Restrictions on applying personal settings”). Allplan 2022 is completely reinstalled, the settings currently saved for the previous version are automatically applied to Allplan 2022.

Projects originating from Allplan 2021, 2020 or 2019 can be imported directly to Allplan 2022 using the Import Project tool in the New Project, Open Project dialog. The project data is automatically prepared when the project is first opened in Allplan 2022, so that the projects can be processed immediately without further restrictions.

Project data from versions prior to 2019 cannot be imported directly into Allplan 2022. Either you convert these data by a preceding upgrade (with data transfer) of the old version at least to version 2019 or you contact the technical support of ALLPLAN GmbH (see “Data exchange with versions prior to 2019”).
