Distributing updates to all the users within a workgroup

The Allplan administrator can distribute updates to all the computers within the workgroup. As a result, the next time Allplan starts, it will be able to install the updates. This allows you to ensure that the same current version of Allplan is always installed on all computers within the workgroup.

To distribute updates to all the users within a workgroup

1. In the title bar of Allplan, click Help and then Allplan Update (How).
   

   Activate Allplan Update in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: ?

   • Title bar: Help

   The Allplan Update Settings dialog box opens.

2. Click Distribute....

   Note: You can select the Distribute... button only if you have downloaded but not yet distributed an update.

3. Select the link to see the release notes on the update.
4. Click OK.
