Layout editor

You can switch to Layout Editor more quickly. Depending on the data, computation is now considerably faster.

For example, you work in a workgroup environment and you have changed but not yet updated model data in views and sections. When you switch to Layout Editor, a dialog box asks whether you want to update the drawing file data. You do not need to update the data if you only want to rearrange the layout elements or if you have accidentally selected the Layout Editor task area.

If you have omitted to update the drawing file data, you can do this manually by means of the Update Layout tool. Note that Allplan always updates reinforcement data when you switch to Layout Editor, The same applies to drawing file data when you select the Print Layouts tool.
