You can use this to switch from one placing region to the next.

When you click a plane, it is interpreted as the active placement region – in other words, it is the region in which the rafters or beams will be placed. However, when the Lock option is selected, new placement regions are created automatically and you can use this tool to switch to them.
The elements in the active region are displayed in the selection color.

With this, you define the clear spacing between rafters as being significant.

With this, you define the axial spacing between rafters as being significant.

With this, the placing region is divided up based on the number of rafters.
The spacing between the rafters is thus calculated automatically. The residual length in this case is always 0.

This is where you enter the number of rafters/beams.
Changing the number causes the spacing and, consequently, the residual length to change automatically.

• The placement mode is set by the system so that the residual length is always equal to 0.

This is where you enter a value for the residual length for the rafter/beam placement.
The number of rafters/beams and the spacing between them is calculated based on this value.

Note: Changing the residual length will cause the program to switch to the Fixed number, variable spacing placing mode and to change the position of the placing region’s starting point accordingly

This is where you enter the placing angle of the rafters/beams relative to the outline.

Click to lock a rafter/beam (for example, you can lock a specific rafter to a specific wall).

You can ‘unlock’ rafters by clicking Clear.
The two placing regions are merged in the process. The total number of rafters/beams does not change.

Note: Click the start or end point of a placement which is not locked deletes the placement clicked and you can enter a new region.
