Angle Dimensioning

Task area Dimension

You can use this tool to dimension interior angles and exterior angles.

To dimension interior and exterior angles

1. Click Angle Dimensioning (How).
   

   Activate Angle Dimensioning in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Label Task area Dimension
   • Menu bar: Create Dimension Lines

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Dimension Lines

2. If you want, you can now modify the dimension line's parameters.
   The context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match properties to copy the settings from an existing element.
3. Define the two lines for the angle as follows:
   • Click an existing line.
   • Define the start point and end point of the line.
4. Place a point through which the dimension line is to pass.

   The interior or exterior angle is dimensioned depending on where you place the dimension line.
