"Soule Export" dialog box

Tools: Export Soule

To transfer reinforcement information and bending information directly to the Soule software, you can create XML files from existing documents.

You can make the following entries in the Soule Export dialog box; some entries are predefined and cannot be changed.

Job ID

Mandatory box for identifying the contract number or project number. Contains the Project number project attribute, which you can find in the Project group. You cannot change this predefined entry.

Release ID

Mandatory box for identifying the unique release number within the job. Select the required entry in the list box.

Assign the Release Id attribute (in the Engineering group) to the reinforcing bar elements and enter the required value for this attribute.
Note: Allplan automatically assigns the Rebar Prefix attribute and enters a default value for it.

Structure

Describes the structure type (also referred to as structural activity code). This entry usually consists of the code and an optional description (for example, 100 slab on grade).

Date wanted

Date on which this release is required at the job site. Contains the current date, which can be changed.
This box can be left blank.

Description

Shows a summary of this release, which helps you identify it and which will be written to the documents. You cannot change this predefined entry.

Assign the Release Description attribute (in the Engineering group) to the reinforcing bar elements and enter the required value for this attribute.

Detailer ID

Date detailed

Date of creation Contains the current date, which can be changed.

Control code

An optional but unique 3-digit or 4-digit identifier for this release (independent of the Job ID).

Group number

A unique number (within the same Job ID) that is assigned to multiple releases. All releases with the same number must be sent together to the job site (usually part of the same job site).

Color

An optional color that is assigned to the release to help you identify it during loading or at the job site.

Date firm

An optional flag that indicates that the date is not likely to change as opposed to being a "best guess".

Domestic

A flag that indicates that this job requires material from a domestic source.

Show mark of straight bar

When you turn off this option, the mark numbers of straight bars will not be exported.

Unit type

Defines the measurement system for lengths and weights: Imperial or Metric. You can change this predefined setting, which is based on the unit selected for entering lengths.

File name

Click this button to define the folder and name of the file.

Note: Click Restore basic settings to restore the predefined entries in this dialog box.
