Manual placement

After you have defined a mark, you can place it using the Place Bar Shape or Special Placements tool.

The following example shows how to place a stirrup along a placing line. Other approaches are described in the tool descriptions in the help for Allplan. A detailed example is provided in the manual.

Information on the placing methods Align, Move and Rotate is provided in the section section entitled "Reinforcement methods".

Requirement: Method 1: 3D general arrangement drawing with views and sections Method 2: 2D general arrangement drawing with an auxiliary 3D solid Method 3: 2D general arrangement drawing
1	Click tool	Place Bar Shape
2	Click mark and select Linear placement if necessary
3	With method 3: Select viewing direction	Click to the right of the cross-section
4	Click points on the placing line in the view
4a	With methods 1 and 2 if you defined the placing line outside a view: In which view?	Click view in which to place
4a		Click view in which to place
5	With methods 1 and 2 in the input options: Select Align With all methods: select the placement display mode
6	Set placing parameters
7	Press ESC twice when labeling was active when you created the placement or select Dimension Line, Label on the shortcut menu Select dimension line type, specify settings for the dimension line and place in the workspace
8	Configure label and place it in the workspace
9	Quit tool	Press ESC
