Area calculation, application

You can use the Area Calculation, Application tool to calculate area and display the results in reports. The type and scope of the calculation is dictated by the report you select.

Los Informes se utilizan para analizar datos en Allplan. Se guardan como plantillas con formato RDLC.

Los informes pueden imprimirse, colocarse como archivos PDF en documentos y exportarse a Excel y otros formatos.
Puede modificar los informes y guardar los resultados como una nueva plantilla.

To calculate area using reports

1. Click Area Calculation, Application (How).

2. Select a folder and report in the Area Calculation, Application dialog box

Clear quantity calculations

1. Set the parameters for the report in the Area Calculation, Application dialog box.
2. Click OK to confirm.
3. Select the rooms or stories you want to analyze.

   Tip: You can use Find Elements in the Input Options to enter criteria for finding rooms.

   Tip: You can use Group Rooms, Stories in the Input Options to enter the name of a group of rooms or stories. Allplan then analyzes this group.

   The Report Viewer opens, displaying the report.

4. You can edit the report as follows:
   • Customize the report
   • Print the report
   • Place the report in the current document
   • Save the report as a file in Excel, PDF or Word format
   • Modify the report using the Layout Designer and save the changes as a new template in RDLC format
5. Print or save the report.
