Creating views in the building structure

To create a view in the building structure

1. Right-click Views, point to Insert structural level on the shortcut menu and click View.
2. Select the drawing files in which you want to save views. Right-click View, choose Assign drawing files on the shortcut menu and enter the numbers of the relevant drawing files. You can only select drawing files you have not yet used in the building structure.
3. Right-click one of the drawing files assigned and select Generate view.

   The Generate View palette opens. You can define numerous settings for the view you are creating.

4. When you have finished defining settings in the Generate View palette, click OK to close the palette.

   Allplan creates the view, naming the drawing file accordingly.
