Default Settings dropdown list

You can use this tool to open the Defaults dialog box, where you can define office standards for patterns, hatching styles, line styles, fonts and so on. You can also enter your office name and company address (for example, for layout labels).

Note: The You are modifying the resources (hatching styles, patterns, fonts and so on) in the office path message is displayed to remind you that any changes you make will alter the office standard and all projects that are associated with the office standard and that use the resource you are about to modify.

To define basic (office) standards

1. Open the Default Settings drop-down list on the Quick Access Toolbar and click Defaults.

   The Defaults dialog box opens.

2. Click the category in which you want to define or change standards.
3. Define standards as described for the selected category in the Help (see Defaults dialog box).
