User-defined archit. element

You can use the User-Defined Archit. Element tool to create elements that can be given architectural attributes. You can make the same height settings as you would when creating architectural elements. This tool is very useful for modeling architectural elements that cannot be created using tools such as Wall, Column and so on.

Note: You can use the Convert Elements - 3D to U-D elements tool to convert any 3D objects to user-defined architectural elements. The properties of converted user-defined architectural elements differ from those of user-defined architectural elements you create using User-Defined Archit. Element.

To create a user-defined archit. element

1. Click User-Defined Archit. Element (How).

2. Define the parameters of the user-defined archit. element:
   • On the context toolbar, click Height to set the height of the element.
   • Define architectural attributes on the context toolbar.
3. Enter the outline of the element using the polyline entry tools.
4. Define the label and place it.
