Shortcut menu of layout structure

Note: Every user can change the layout structure in workgroup manager. When you have opened the layout structure and another user is modifying it, Allplan displays the flashing icon beside the name of the project. The ToolTip of the project shows the name of the user who has changed the layout structure.

Save layout structure as a favorite

Saves the current layout structure as a favorite file (*.xml).

Load layout structure favorite

Loads a layout structure that you saved as a favorite file (*.xml).

Insert structural level

Inserts a structural level below the structural node clicked. Only appropriate structural levels can be inserted.

Delete entire layout structure

Deletes the layout structure. The All layouts structural node remains unchanged.

Paste under...

Inserts elements from the clipboard below the structural node clicked.

Show “All layouts” structural level

Shows the All layouts structural level in the layout structure.

Show active layout

Goes to the active layout in the layout structure.

Find assigned layout (Ctrl+G)

Finds a layout and opens the layout structure accordingly.

Show all 9999 layouts

Shows all 9999 layouts.

Show layouts 1-1000

Shows a selection of layouts. Enter the layout numbers in the box. Use a "," to separate several numbers; use a "-” to enter a range (for example, 1,5-9,11).

Show layouts in use only

Shows the layouts in use and empty layouts with names.

Sorting

Shows the sorting options: numerically in ascending or descending order, alphabetically in ascending or descending order

Insert structural level

Inserts a structural level below the structural node clicked. Only appropriate structural levels can be inserted.

Assign layouts...

Assigns layouts to the structural node clicked. Enter the layout numbers in the box. Use a "," to separate several numbers; use a "-” to enter a range (for example, 1,5-9,11).

Assign linked layouts...

Creates one or more links in a structural level. Move the links into the required structural level.

Import layouts

Imports one or more layouts to the structural node clicked. You can select the layouts in a folder or ZIP file.

Delete

Deletes the structural node and all its subordinate nodes from the layout structure as soon as you confirm the prompt.

Rename (F2)

Renames the structural node.

Copy

Copies the structural node and all its subordinate nodes to the clipboard. You can then use Paste under... or Paste behind... to insert the structural node anywhere else in the layout structure.

Cut

Deletes the structural node and all its subordinate nodes and moves the data to the clipboard. You can then use Paste under... or Paste behind... to insert the structural node anywhere else in the layout structure.

Paste under...

Inserts elements from the clipboard below the structural node clicked.

Paste behind...

Inserts elements from the clipboard after but at the same hierarchical level as the structural node clicked.

Sorting

Shows the sorting options: numerically in ascending or descending order, alphabetically in ascending or descending order

Make layout current

Makes the selected layout current.

Unlink

Unlinks the layout from the superordinate structural node.

Delete contents of layout

Deletes the contents of the layout as soon as you confirm the prompt.

Rename (F2)

Renames the layout.

Replace layout

Replaces the layout with another one in a folder or ZIP file.

Create link

Creates a link to one or more selected layouts. You can find the linked layouts a the end of the structural level. You can move the linked layouts into the required structural level.

Show linked layouts

Shows the linked layouts of the selected layout.

Copy

Copies the layout to the clipboard. You can then use Paste to insert the layout in an empty layout anywhere else in the layout structure.

Cut

Deletes the layout and moves it to the clipboard. You can then use Paste to insert the layout in an empty layout anywhere else in the layout structure.

Paste

Inserts layouts from the clipboard in empty layouts anywhere else in the layout structure.

List layout elements

Lists all drawing files in this layout.

Assign print profile

Assigns a defined print profile to the layout.

Properties

Shows the properties of the layout.
