Link with Scanned Image

You can use this tool to link a scanned image with the current drawing file. In addition, you can set parameters which control how the scanned image looks without changing the file itself.

Border

This tool applies a rectangle in the construction line color around the scanned image so that you can see its extents. Whenever you delete an area of the scanned image, it is updated so that its extents fit the border you applied.

Get Info

You can use this tool display information on the drawing files that scanned images reference.

Compress

You can use this tool to compress scanned image files.

Copy Image

You can use this tool to copy scanned image files in the project folder.

Reposition Image

You can use this tool to change the position of scanned images.

Merge Images

You can use this tool to merge two scanned images together, to join up a drawing that you scanned in in sections, for example.

Convert Image to Bitmap File

You can use this tool to convert an RLC scan to a monochrome bitmap file.

Converter

You can use this tool to convert TIFF files or BMP files to RLC files.

The data to be converted must be on a storage medium or in a drive that the computer can access. The converted data are saved to the current project.

Delete Image

You can use this tool to delete scanned image files from the hard disk.

You can use this tool to correct an area of a scanned image by entering three points.

Fill Area

You can use this tool to fill an area of the scanned image with the color of the image.

Invert Image

You can use this tool to invert the pixels in a scanned image i.e. make transparent pixels colored and vice versa This modifies the image file itself.

This tool works just like the Copy and Resize tool in the fixed Edit task area.

Delete Area

You can use this tool to delete an area of the scanned image currently linked with the drawing file.

Save Area

You can use this tool to save an area of the scanned image as a new image.

Create Bitmap Area

You can use this tool to create monochrome bitmap areas straight from linked scanned images. The bitmap file linked with the bitmap area is saved in a common format to the project's design folder. The bitmap areas are no longer linked with the scanned image and can be edited like any other bitmap area.
