Define Profile

You can use the Define Profile dialog box to define how the profile section looks (pen, line color, text height and width)
Note that Allplan does not use the settings for pen, line and color when you work with layers and you have selected the ‘Match from layer... ‘ setting. In this case, Allplan uses the fixed settings in the Properties palette.

Enter values in the boxes on the left and at the bottom to set values and offsets for the border of the profile in [mm].

You can specify how the reference height is displayed. You can set a pen, color, text height, text width, offset to the profile reference line and number of trailing zeros.

You can specify how the height labels are displayed. You can set a pen, color, text height, text width, offset to the profile reference line and number of trailing zeros.

You can specify how station labels on the profile line points are displayed. In a longitudinal profile, the values of the intersected element’s stations are used. In a transverse profile, the offset length on the left and right are relative to the profile axis.
You can set a pen, color, text height, text width, offset to the profile reference line and number of trailing zeros.

You can specify how the profile box is displayed. You can set a pen, line type and color.

This parameter is not available for longitudinal profiles.

You can specify how the profile line is displayed. You can set a pen, line type and color. You can also create the profile line as a pattern line - for example, to display terrain hatching.

You can specify how the vertical reference line between the profile point and its associated text/label is displayed. You can set a pen, line type and color. You can also enable additional parameters:

Splay: When this option is enabled, the text fields are arranged in such a manner that they do not overlap. The height lines are skewed to accommodate the fields.

Terrain, Height Zone, Station Zone: Specify in which zones the height lines are to be displayed.
