Default pen and color for display of pattern on/off
Pattern defaults
You can use the
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off tool to define whether the pattern is created with the pen and color set here in the pattern defaults or with the current settings in the Properties palette. For more information, see Rules defining how elements look on screen.
Tip: When you include fills in pattern definitions, you should enable this option.
- When you select
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off, the pattern is drawn using the line widths and colors with which it was created, regardless of the settings in the Properties palette. This means you can use a variety of line thicknesses in a single pattern.
Note: This option is enabled for all Allplan default patterns. - When you switch off
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off, the pattern is drawn using the line widths and colors set in the Properties palette, regardless of the settings made in the pattern defaults and the option.
