Resources are data used by the program. Resources used in drawing files can be saved either in the project (= project-specific) or in the office standard (=office-specific). An exception is the drawing symbol regulations, which can be in the default folder or in the office standard (see Urban planning symbols).
Resources used in NDW files are saved in the relevant document.
The project resources include the following data:
When creating projects, you can specify whether you want to use project-specific or office-specific resources (you can change this at any time). When you select the project-specific setting, you can specify whether you want to use a copy of the office standard or a copy of another project. This way, you can change the resources without modifying the office standard itself. Project-specific resources are saved in the folder of the relevant project.
When you choose the office-specific setting, the program uses the resources of the office standard. Office-specific resources are saved in the ...\std folder.
You can change these settings later. Bear in mind, though, that when you switch from project-specific to office-specific, all the changes you have made to the resources of the project in question will be lost.
You can change the resources using the Defaults tool (How). When the resources are set to project-specific, you will change the resources of the selected project only. But when the resources are set to office-specific, the office standard itself will change and thus all the projects based on the office standard. When you work with Workgroup Manager in a network environment, you can only change the office standard when you are logged in as the administrator.
What do you want to do?
Change the path set for resources later
