Drawing a dormer with an overhang

You have two ways of drawing dormers with overhang:

• If you have the Roof task area, use Roof Covering (How).
  

  Activate Roof Covering in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Roof

  • Menu bar: Create Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

  General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

• If you haven't, you can use the Slab tool (How). The result is the same but it involves more steps.
  

  Activate Slab in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Components

  • Menu bar: Create Architecture Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

  Basic: Walls, Openings, Components
