Application

• You want to create a 3D drawing.
• You want to create a 3D general arrangement drawing that does not include architectural components like columns, beams and walls.

Notes

• A 3D general arrangement drawing makes it much easier for you to place reinforcement with the 3D model (see chapter "Reinforce with or without 3D model?").
• You can create views and sections in two ways:
  • Using the tools in the Reinforcement Views task area: All the views and sections update automatically to reflect any changes in the component geometry or reinforcement.
  • Using the tools in the Sections task area: All the views and sections update automatically to reflect any changes in the component geometry (provided you have defined the settings accordingly).
• Create dimensions using the tools in the Dimension task area. To dimension associative views, you can also use the specific tool of the task area.
