Modify Building

Task area Urban Planning

You can use this tool to modify buildings.

To modify a building

1. Click Modify Building (How).
   

   Activate Modify Building in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Surroundings Task Urban Planning Task area Urban Planning

   • Menu bar: Change Terrain Urban Planning

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Urban Planning

2. Click the building you want to modify.
3. Click Building Rep to define the name and to specify how the new part of the building looks.
4. Click Story Def to define the stories.
5. Define the roof shape. The procedure is the same as for the Roof Frame tool.
6. The building is modified after you have clicked one or more edges (click edges of the roof frame to apply slopes).

Notes:

• Click Change Archit. Properties to change the representation of the building only.
• Click Delete Building Parts to delete a part of the building you added using Extend Building.
