Move DTM Text

Task area Terrain Model

You can use this tool to move the labels (triangle labels, contour line labels and grid / elevation points labels) in a DTM.

To move the labels in a digital terrain model

1. Click Move DTM Text (How).
   

   Activate Move DTM Text in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Surroundings Task Terrain Task area Terrain model

   • Menu bar: Change Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

2. Click the DTM.
3. Select the text you want to move.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

4. Move the elements in one of the following ways:
   • Place the from point and to point.
   • Specify the X and Y vector in the dialog line.
