Update Labels

Task area Update

You can use this tool to update the labels of all architectural elements in the active documents.
In the case of large circular spaces (for example, rooms based on 2D circles), Allplan calculates the area exactly using pi, labeling the area afterwards.

Tip: Labels usually update automatically. Depending on the volume of data involved, this can take some time. If you want, you can switch off Update labels automatically in the Options - Components and architecture page - Architectural settings area. When you have finished making modifications, you can update all the labels in a single operation - all you need to do is click Update Labels.

To update all the labels

• Click Update Labels (How).
  

  Activate Update Labels in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Modeling Task area Update

  • Menu bar: Change Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

  • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

  General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

  Smart Symbols

  Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

  Special: Walls, Openings, Components

  Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

  Stairs

  Frame Construction: Rafters, Roof Beams, Posts

  The labels for all the architectural elements in the loaded, active documents are updated.
