NDW Layout Element

Task area Layout Editor

You can use this tool to place NDW files in the layout. You can define the scale, drop-in angle, font size, text direction, visibility settings for layers and the drawing type.

To place NDW layout elements

1. Click NDW Layout Element (How).
   

   Activate NDW Layout Element in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task Layout Editor Task area Layout Editor

   • Menu bar: Create Layout

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Layout

2. Select the folder and the NDW file you want to place as a layout element.
3. Set the parameters.
4. Place the layout element.
   For more information on placing layout elements so that they are congruent or aligned, see Positioning layout elements.

Note: When the Design view is selected, you can use Show/Hide (How) to define whether the contents of the layout element, the layout element border and layout window border are visible.

Activate Show/Hide in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: View

• Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar View
