SCHOECK Reports

Task area SCHOECK

You can use this tool to create a report with the fixtures you have already placed. Different placing lengths of the fixtures are ignored. The fixtures are always ordered and supplied as entire elements that are not cut.

Reports are used for analyzing data in Allplan. They are saved as templates in RDLC format.

Reports can be printed, placed as PDF files in documents and exported to Excel and other formats.
You can change the layout of reports and save the result as a new template.

To create a report

1. Click SCHOECK Reports (How).
   

   Activate SCHOECK Reports in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Engineering Task Manufacturer Task area SCHOECK

   • Menu bar: Create Products, Manufacturers SCHOECK

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   SCHOECK

2. Read the software agreement, which you can suppress after you have selected this tool for the first time, and click OK.
   

   You can use the tools in the task areas of the Manufacturer task to place fixtures that are provided by the respective manufacturers. ALLPLAN GmbH does not assume any responsibility for these fixtures.
   Fixtures will be placed automatically based on the results of the calculation program provided by the relevant manufacturer.

   You can find more details in the software agreement.

   This software agreement opens whenever you select a tool in these task areas. To hide the software agreement, select the Do not show this dialog box in future option.
   

   Note: When you use the cleanstd hotline tool (on the Service menu in the Services application) to restore Allplan's default values, the software agreement will appear again.

3. The Reports dialog box opens. Select the folder and report and then click Open.

   Tip: Clicking Default on the left takes you to the manufacturer-specific reports.

4. Select the fixtures to be listed.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   To get detailed information on all selection options provided by Allplan, see Selecting elements, overview.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

   • Click Find Elements in the input options to find fixtures based on advanced criteria.
   • Select the fixtures by clicking them, enclosing them in a selection rectangle, or using the brackets.
     Or
     Right-click in the workspace twice or click All in the input options to select all the fixtures.
5. Report Viewer opens, displaying the report. You can now edit the report as follows:
   • You can customize the report.
   • You can print the report.
   • You can place the report in the current document.
   • You can save the report as a file in Excel, PDF or Word format.
   • You can edit the report using Layout Designer.
     You can save changes as a new template in RDLC format.
6. Print or save the report.
   You can also print the list to file. You can then distribute this print file electronically. If the list exceeds one page, you can choose to include all pages or selected pages in the print file.
