Errors and error messages while transferring DXF/DWG files
The presentation mode you have selected may be incorrect.
The file was created in paper space, but you have selected to import model space or vice versa. Check the setting under AutoCAD Specific in Options. Please note that you can only import data from AutoCAD’s paper space to Allplan layouts. You can only select the space when you import data to documents. More information is provided in Importing to and exporting from AutoCAD model space and paper space.
Coordinates exceed 5,000 m
This warning indicates that the imported file contains coordinates exceeding 5,000 m. These coordinates may cause problems. More information is provided in Importing files with large coordinates.
Scanned images in the background cannot be resolved
This warning indicates that the document exported contains a color bitmap image or scanned image and you have enabled the Image option in the Explode elements area in the settings. But Allplan only exports scanned images and color bitmap images when they are not exploded. Only monochrome bitmap images can be exported when they are exploded. For more information, see Exporting bitmap images and scanned images.
Warning: Dimension text is different. DXF/Allplan= "678" / "678.1"
The DXF file contains a dimension line block. In this case, your data exchange partner had the value 678.1 (e.g,. 678.067556) displayed rounded off as text. In Allplan, however, the Round-off value parameter is set to 1 decimal place (i.e., 0.1). As a result the value in the dimension string generated in Allplan is set correctly to 678.1.
Warning: Dimension text is different. DXF/Allplan= "39.92" / "39.9"
Here, your data exchange partner rounded off to two decimal places. In Allplan, however, the Round-off value parameter is set to 1 decimal place. As a result the value in the dimension string generated in Allplan is set to 39.9.
Note: The actual length is the distance between the dimension line points clicked in the CAD program.
Please note that the DXF/DWG file may also contain zoomed areas – this can lead to differences in dimension text. For example: A length of 1m is zoomed and enlarged by a factor of 20 – during export via DXF/DWG, the length is now transferred as a value of 20.
Incomprehensible error messages like BSOARR/EGTINF/1 and so on
These messages can generally be ignored. They refer to DXF elements that have not been defined in the DXF standard.
MDXFLE/EB3D35/1 IERR = 3:
The 3D element could not be created due to insufficient memory. Increase the document size on the Service menu in the Services application.
error: Code line > 4 characters! 12153 c:<6 9 5 5 - 0>
According to AutoCAD, the maximum value for a CODE line is the number 999. Anything higher cannot be understood by the CAD program and usually indicates that the DXF file is corrupt (reading error and so on).
Hatching not found : No. = 101
The hatching with the specified number (101 in the example) is used in the documents, but is not part of the project standard or office standard and will consequently not be transferred.
