Support reinforcement
Module(s): Mesh Reinforcement
You can use the
Support Reinforcement tool to place several meshes along a support line while taking the support reinforcement length into account. As the meshes are associated with the placing polygon, any changes you make to the geometric outline of the polygon or to the settings are reflected in the corresponding meshes.
To place meshes along a support line
- Click
Support Reinforcement (How). - If you work in Reinforce with 3D model mode, you need to select an existing view to which you want to add support reinforcement.
Note: If there are no views, you cannot create support reinforcement.
- Enter the support area or click Match in the input options to use an existing support area.
- Modify the support area using the tools provided on the context toolbar and define the location of the placement in space so as to establish the relationship (offset) between the defined spatial plane and the placement (with Reinforce with 3D model only).
- Click OK to confirm the settings.
- Select the mesh type to be placed:
- Enter the parameters on the Support Reinforcement Context toolbar.
- Click OK to confirm. The individual meshes of the support reinforcement are placed.
