syswink_24

System Angle

You can use this tool to set the system angle.
The system angle is a reference variable. It is the angle on which entries for length and angle are based. The system angle in document mode does not depend on the system angle in Layout Editor and can be set separately.

rotview_24

Rotated Plan View

You can use this tool to turn the screen contents about their center point. This tool only changes the way the screen contents look; it has no effect on the coordinates. You can only use this tool in conjunction with plan view in the current viewport.
If you enter a positive angle, Allplan will turn the display in a counter-clockwise direction. To restore the original display, select this tool again and set the angle back to 0 degrees.

ebfest_24

Work Plane

You can use this tool to define a local coordinate system freely in space.
A work plane, which allows you to design as if you were working in plan, is a useful aid when it comes to dealing with difficult situations (for example, inclined surfaces or planes).

bz_24

Reference Scale

You can use this tool to set the scale in which the object will be printed.

The reference scale governs the true proportions of fixed parameters (such as, the character height, dimension lines, patterns, hatching ...) relative to the object displayed on the screen.

Show Coordinate System

You can use this tool to display a coordinate system at bottom left in the viewports. When several viewports are open, the coordinate system is visible in each viewport. The coordinate system is not included in viewports of the Animation view type.

drast_24

Define Grid Settings

You can use this tool to define the origin of the grid and the spacing between grid points in the x-direction and y-direction. You can use grid points for precision drawing when the Grid point option is selected in the Point snap options.

lmrast_24

Grid on/off

You can use this tool to show the grid on the screen. To define the grid, use Define Grid Settings.

The grid is only visible in plan view.

pufrei_24

Blanking on/off

You can use this tool to switch blanking mode on and off.
When this tool is selected, lines connecting point symbols are not displayed around the point symbols. Blanking is a property of the line. This means that the blanking tool must be selected when you draw the line.

Update, Modify Blanking

You can use this tool to update or modify the blanking of lines, pattern lines, splines and clothoids around point symbols.
The point symbols or lines connecting the point symbols assume the setting set in Blanking on/off.

Akt_Alternativ_24

Select elements based on direction

Selection depends on the direction in which you open the selection rectangle:

  • From left to right - only selects the elements that are fully bounded by the selection rectangle.
  • From right to left - selects the elements that are fully bounded or intersected by the selection rectangle, which is shown as dashed lines.

elinbe_24

Select elements fully bounded

Selects the elements that are fully bounded by the selection rectangle.

begeel_24

Select elements fully bounded and intersected

Selects the elements that are intersected or fully bounded by the selection rectangle.

Select elements intersected

Selects the elements that are intersected by the selection rectangle only.
(Elements that are fully bounded by the selection rectangle will not be selected.)

fidek_24

Selection Option for Ambiguous Elements on/off

If there are congruent elements, you can use this tool to select the element you want to activate. When this tool is not selected, the program always selects the element that was created first (that is, the older one).

fila_24

Reselect / Undo

You can use this tool to reselect the elements that were selected last or to restore elements you have deleted (provided the tool used is still open).

fipa_24

Fence on/off

You can use this tool to select elements by entering a fence.

boksu_24

Brackets

You can use this tool to open the brackets. All the elements you select after opening the brackets, whether selected in a rectangle, fence or individually, will be added to the selection. Click the brackets again to close them.
