Create or modify flyout menus

Starting Actionbar Configurator

You can create your own flyout menus using Actionbar Configurator. You can also modify existing flyout menus by adding or removing tools.

To create a flyout menu

  1. Select the tool you want to add to the flyout menu of another tool.
This can be a tool in any task area.
If the role already includes this tool, click this tool and drag the icon of the tool onto another tool.
  2. Release the mouse button.

This adds the tool to the flyout menu.

Tip: To avoid confusion, you can add separators to task areas. To do this, use the shortcut menu. You can show or hide these separators (drop-down list on the title bar - Customize User Interface... - Actionbar tab).

  3. If the role does not include the tool, select the task area (left column of table) that includes the tool you want to add to the flyout menu.

Tip: To find a tool quickly, you can use the Find tool.

  4. Click this tool in the right table column and drag the tool onto the required tool in the role.

Release the mouse button to add the tool to the flyout menu.

ATTENTION: If you move a tool with its own flyout menu to the flyout menu of another tool, the tool and the entire contents of the flyout menu will be moved.

Note: Changes in fixed (gray) task areas apply to all roles; changes in variable (blue) task areas only apply to the role and task currently selected.

To remove a tool from a flyout menu

  1. Open the flyout menu including the tool you want to remove.
  2. Click the icon of the tool you want to remove and drag the icon to another position within the role or away from the role.

Finally, release the mouse button. As you can see, the tool has changed places within the role or has been removed from the role.

You can also add the tool to another flyout menu as described.

You can find the Reset button in the lower area of the Configure tab.
ATTENTION: By clicking the Reset button, you delete ALL roles you created yourself and reset ALL changes. This restores the default configuration of Allplan!
