BARTEC screwed-sleeve joints

The following sleeve joints are currently available in the article catalog. In addition to the standard range, you can select sleeves for earthquake-resistant joints (SMI), fatigue-proof joints (DYN), corrosion-resistant joints (INOX) and joints of higher strength (TOP) in accordance with the type and diameter.

• Standard joints of the BLS type are designed to connect bars of the same diameter, provided the connecting bar is free to move lengthwise and can be rotated freely in the second phase.
  The reinforcing bar is enlarged in the area of the thread whereby the bar cross-section is larger than the nominal cross-section of the reinforcement.
• Lock nut joints of the LCE type are designed to connect bars of the same diameter, provided the connecting bar cannot be rotated freely in the second phase (bent bars, available space and so on).
  The reinforcing bar is enlarged in the area of the thread whereby the bar cross-section is larger than the nominal cross-section of the reinforcement.
• Changes in diameter of the BDV type are designed to connect bars with different diameters; the diameter can be reduced or enlarged. The reduction or enlargement is always implemented using a BLS/LCE standard sleeve that matches the smaller diameter of the bar.
  The bar of the larger diameter is given the same thread as the bar of the smaller diameter.
• Steel construction joints of the X type facilitate the reliable connection of an industrial metric bolt of the 10.9 strength category with the BARTEC standard range.
• Weldable sleeves of the SD type are designed to connect reinforcement with structural steel structures or plates. These sleeves provide full load transfer.
• As an alternative to end hooks, ACIBAR end anchorage of the E type provides end anchorage of the full bar force. The anchorage length must be at least 10ds (tension and compression). Anchorage is achieved using a round plate.
  Transverse reinforcement is required to account for local tensile forces in the anchorage area.
• As an alternative to end hooks, ACIBAR end anchorage of the CT type provides end anchorage of the full bar force. The anchorage length must be at least 5ds (tension and compression). Anchorage is achieved using a square plate.
  Transverse reinforcement is required to account for local tensile forces in the anchorage area.
• Featuring right-and-left-handed threads, special connections of the DGB type are designed to close small openings caused by shrinkage, for example.
  Lock nut joints of the LCE type are used to connect intermediate reinforcement of the following diameters: 16, 22, 30 and 40. Other diameters are not possible. The bar spacing within the connection must not exceed the value of 25 mm. During assembly the entire connection must be offset for securing the site. After the second phase has been concreted, the DGB connection (third phase) can be removed again.
  

Note: It is the user who selects the coupler. The program does not check whether the selected coupler can be used with the existing bending shapes (for example, you will not be informed if you select a standard coupler of the BLS type in conjunction with a connecting bar that cannot be rotated).
