General
Quality of graphics
By selecting Draft, Default or Best results, you can define the quality of the elements displayed graphically in reports.
All graphics with this pen / All graphics with this color
When you select these check boxes, you can define the pen and color Allplan is to use for all elements displayed graphically in reports. When these options are not selected, Allplan displays the elements in reports using the pen and color specified in the document.
Create color stands for pen / Create thick line
Note: These settings only apply to the graphics of elements in reports.
Color stands for pen - Create: Use this to turn on the Color stands for pen option. For more information, see Rules defining how elements look on the screen.
Thick line - Create: When you select this option, lines appear with their actual extents on the screen. Otherwise, lines appear with the same, thin line.
Note: You can configure whether the thick line is to have a constant or real thickness in Pen Thickness + Format QuickSelect.
Clear quantity calculations
Representation of area division
The settings in the Clear quantity calculations area control how Allplan calculates and displays values in label styles and reports.
Number of decimal places for dimensions of partial areas: You can select 1 to 4 decimal places.
Number of decimal places for results of partial areas: You can select 1 to 4 decimal places.
Dimension text unit: You can switch between m and m,cm.
Determine results of partial areas from values: When you select displayed values, Allplan rounds off the values to the decimal places specified and uses these values to calculate the results. When you select precise values, Allplan uses the exact values (9 decimal places) for calculations and rounds off the results to the number of decimal places specified.
The preview shows the current parameters.
Determine results of areas from values: When you select displayed values, Allplan calculates the result of areas, which is the sum of the results of partial areas, from the values displayed for the results of partial areas. When you select precise values, Allplan adds these values and rounds the result off to the number of decimal places specified.
Note: The Determine results of areas from values option affects only reports and label styles that use quantitative attributes that result from “clear quantity calculations" (TAI too).
Note: Changes you make to Number of decimal places and Determine results of partial areas from precise values or displayed values or Determine results of areas from precise values or displayed values do not affect labels in the drawing file at first. To apply the changes, you must use the Update Labels tool.
Text parameters ...:
Sets the text parameters for the division of areas displayed graphically. See text parameters for an overview.
More settings
Do not label partial areas if smaller than: Partial areas that are smaller than this value do not get labels (for reasons of clarity).
Gauss-Elling when number of partial areas exceeds: When this number is exceeded, Allplan no longer divides areas into partial areas but calculates them based on the Gauss-Elling method.
Create area calculations in current document: When you select this option, Allplan creates and saves the graphical representation of areas in the current document.
You can select and thus delete the graphical representation of areas as an entity group by pressing the Shift key and clicking.
Note: No document is active when you create reports using the building structure. Therefore, you cannot save the quantity calculations.
