New viewport

Window dropdown list / Controlling what’s on your screen

You can use this tool to open a new viewport for the current document.

You can then edit the document in all viewports where you have opened it. For example, you can place the start and end points of a line in different viewports.

Tip: To see better what you are doing, you can work with two viewports: display the entire document in one viewport and work on details in the other viewport.

To open a new viewport

• Open the Window drop-down list on the Quick Access Toolbar and click New Viewport.
