Modify Lines

Task area Key Plan

You can use this tool to modify the lengths of the arrows.
The position of the arrow stays in line with the direction.

To modify the direction of load arrows, slab diagonals or mark leaders

1. Click Modify Lines (How).
   

   Activate Modify Lines in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Engineering Task Structural Analysis Task area Key Plan

   • Menu bar: Change Engineering Key Plan

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Key Plan

2. Click the line to be modified.
3. Enter the new end point of the line, using the following modes:
   • By clicking the intended end point. The system drops a perpendicular line to the line to be modified that passes through the point clicked. The new end point of the line is the base of the perpendicular.
     
     
   • By clicking another line. The line to be modified is lengthened or shortened as far as the point of intersection with the other line.
