Copying a drawing symbol catalog and selecting it for a project

To copy a drawing symbol catalog and select it for a project

1. Click New Project, Open Project... on the Quick Access Toolbar.
2. Right-click a project and, on the shortcut menu, click Properties....
3. In the Project Settings dialog box, click Drawing Symbol Regulations in the Path Settings area.
4. In the Drawing Symbol Regulations dialog box, click PLANZVO in the Default folder with the right mouse button and select Copy on the shortcut menu.

   The drawing symbol regulations are copied from the default folder to the Clipboard.

5. Now click the Office folder with the right mouse button and select Insert on the shortcut menu.

   This creates a copy of the default drawing symbol regulations, which is named PLANZV1, in the Office folder.

   You can copy and insert more drawing symbol regulations in this way. Allplan automatically increments the names by 1.

6. Select the drawing symbol regulations you want to assign to the current project and click OK to confirm.
7. You can now open the project and customize the drawing symbol regulations to suit your needs.

Notes:

• Once you have customized drawing symbol regulations, you can assign them directly to a project. You do not need to copy them again.
• If you want to create new regulations based on customized regulations in the office path, you can copy the required regulations directly in the office path. Use the same approach.
• You cannot change the names of copied drawing symbol regulations.
